Something that God has really laid upon our hearts, is giving, even in these tough economic times. He chose what type of charity this contest was to benefit. One that happens to be very close to our own hearts, as our daughter is currently in a wheelchair, and benefits from riding her horse- both physically and emotionally. These contests are all His idea- from the type of charity and gift certificate amount to the time frame.
Between now and December 31, 2010, we'll be taking entries for 1 (one) $500.00 Sunset Halters gift certificate which will be donated to a 501c non-profit organization using horses as therapy for kids.
We will pray, and anounce one organization to give a Sunset Halters gift certificate to, in the amount of $500. We'll also pick up the tab for shipping. We will notify the winning group via email, and post the winning organization here in January.
Requirements are:
*Must be a 501c non-profit organization in the U.S.A.
*Provide therapy to kids- emotional, physical, and/or mental
*Use horses as their main mode of therapy
*Must not have won one of our therapy contests in the past
