These 5/8" derby mecate reins are a great economical rein available in a large assortment of colors shown below. This rope is made in America, so is a bit thicker/stiffer than most derby ropes.
Ends have decorative knots and can be finished with two poppers, or a tassel/popper.

These mecate reins are made with 1/2" yacht braid rope, which is a perfect match for the 1/4" yacht braid and halter cord. These have a great weight to them for training or every day use.
Each set of reins comes with spliced, weighted ends w/knots. And can be finished with tassel/popper (shown), or two poppers.

Add Mecate Reins
Mecate reins will give you a loop rein, and a long lead rope. It takes about two feet to tie the rein knot that attaches to your haltermore halter.

These mecate reins are made with larger 9/16" yacht braid rope, made here in the USA. These have a great weight to them for training or every day use.
We're in the process of switch all of our 1/2" yacht braid rope over to this larger, heavier 9/16". As we run out of colors in the 1/2", we'll be adding them here in the 9/16".

These mecate reins are made with 7/16" yacht braid rope, which is a perfect match for the 1/4" yacht braid and halter cord. These are smaller and lighter weight, but are the same quality as our larger yacht braids. The compact size makes them great for smaller hands and every day use.
