Slip Halters for Sheep, Goats, Llamas & Alpacas
These slip halters are made with premium American made polyester yacht braid. They come complete with a spliced, hand sewn eye, lover's knot and a weighted end with popper.
This rope is very strong, yet soft, flexible and compact. It's great for use as an emergency halter, as well as easily moving animals to new fields, barn, etc.
These are one piece, with the lead being directly attached to the jaw/poll strap. Simply loosen the jaw/poll strap by pulling some of the lead through the lover's knot loop. Once loosened, pull off over the ears.
The only part of these that isn't adjustable, is the noseband. Because this page is for so many types of animals, we need your noseband measurements. Too short of noseband will cause the rope on the side of the face to be too close to the eyes. We measure our noseband from the tip of the spliced eye on the animal's right side, up to the knot on the animal's left side. Starting at $
